The Politically Incorrect Show - 14/03/2001

[Music - Die Fledermaus]

Good afternoon, Kaya Oraaa & welcome to the Politically Incorrect Show on the free speech network, Radio Pacific, for Wednesday March 14, proudly sponsored by Neanderton Nicotine Ltd., the show that says bugger the politicians & bureaucrats & all the other bossyboot busybodies who try to run our lives with our money; that stands tall for free enterprise, achievement, profit, & excellence, against the state-worshippers in our midst; that stands above all for the most sacred thing in the universe, the liberty of the human individual.

[Music up, music down!]

If you thought the apartheid gravy train was yet at full speed, think again. The following are excerpts from a Draft Declaration of Indigenous People's Rights, drawn up by the Working Group on Indigenous Populations (WGIP) in 1993 & still awaiting United Nations ratification. We can only hope that it's gotten lost in a bureaucratic black hole somewhere:

-Article 7(e)
Governments shall prevent propaganda [against Indigenous Peoples];

-Article 22
Indigenous Peoples have the right to special measures to improve their economic and social conditions. This includes the areas of employment, education, housing, health and social security;

-Article 27
Indigenous Peoples have the right to the return of land and resources taken without their consent. Where this is not possible, they shall receive just compensation in the form of land and resources;

-Article 28
Indigenous Peoples shall receive assistance in order to restore and protect the environment of their land and resources;

-Article 29
Indigenous Peoples have the right to own and control their cultural and intellectual property. They have the right to special measures to control and develop their sciences, technologies, seeds, medicines, knowledge of flora and fauna, oral traditions, designs, arts and performances;

-Article 32
Indigenous Peoples have...the right to determine who are their own citizens;

-Article 34
Indigenous Peoples can decide the responsibilities of individuals to their communities;

-Article 38
Indigenous Peoples have the right to financial assistance from governments and international organisations in order to exercise the rights recognised in this declaration;

-Article 39
Dispute resolutions and their procedures must take account of indigenous customs and traditions;

-Article 42
This declaration contains only minimum standards for indigenous peoples.

Much of this simply echoes what is already going on here, of course: the attack on free speech, the showering of stolen money on particular ethnic groups, government-mandated superstition, etc.. It is a vile mixture of statism, primitivism & apartheid. Especially vicious is the granting of indigenous people the so-called right to decide the responsibilities of individuals to their communities. Indigenous peoples, in other words - meaning their self-anointed representatives - have the "right" to negate rights; the individual belongs to the tribe. Again, what's new? The sheeple have accepted this proposition for generations. If this wretched document is eventually ratified & governments act on it, sheeple everywhere will simply get more of the same - & more of what they deserve.
